A Scottish Rite Mason seeks to delve deeply into the tenets of the Symbolic Lodge in order to continue the journey to more light and greater wisdom and self-improvement.

“I’ve found a purpose, a path, friends, and family all because of this fraternity.”

Bro. Curran, Jr.

The Scottish Rite, often referred to as 32° Freemasonry, is an appendant body of Freemasonry a Master Mason may join to journey deeper into the teachings of the Craft.

The 29 Scottish Rite degrees delve deeply into the tenets and philosophy of the Craft. Through the study of additional degrees, like-minded, worthy men share their passion and commitment to Masonry while connecting to something bigger.

Each Valley has up to four Scottish Rite bodies. Each body confers a set of degrees. In the Northern Masonic Jurisdiction, the bodies are: Lodge of Perfection, Council Princes of Jerusalem, Chapter of Rose Croix, The Consistory.
